Weldon Ray Harris was born June 21, 1945 in Hardin County, TN the son of the late Raymond Garland and Iva Dee Droke Harris.

He was united in marriage to Wanda Meek on July 3, 1965.

Mr. Harris retired from Ripley Industries. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee and served as an active deacon for 24 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed going fishing.

Mr. Harris departed this life on April 23, 2014 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 10 Months, 2 Days. He is survived by his wife Wanda (Meek) Harris of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Jane Rae LaDue and husband Danny of Saltillo, MS; a brother, Winford Harris and wife Sue of Savannah, TN; four grandsons, Damon, Cade, Brodie, and Austin LaDue; sister-in-law, Francis Harris of Adamsville, TN; mother-in-law, Madeline Meek of Adamsville, TN; brother-in-law, Philip Meek and wife Joyce of Adamsville, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by brother, Wayne Harris; father-in-law, Hillard Meek.
