Services for Florence E. Hadden, 89, Pine City, Minnesota, were July 10, 1987, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Pine City, with the Rev. Kenneth Manfolk officiating. Burial was in the Birchwood Cemetery, Pine City, with the Swanson Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
She died Tuesday, July 7, 1987, in Cambridge, Minnesota following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hadden was born October 11, 1897, in Red Oak to Mr. and Mrs. Carl V. Johnson. She married Ray Hadden in Red Oak February 5, 1919.
Living in Red Oak and Leavenworth, Kansas for many years, she had spent the last 29 years with her daughter in Pine City. Mrs. Hadden enjoyed doing craft-work and crocheting.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Frank of Ashland, Wisconsin and Doris Madison of Pine City; son Merrill Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Johnson of Red Oak, brother Ralph Johnson of Red Oak.
