SCLEETA PLUNK HUDSON

MARTIN - Mrs. Scleeta Plunk Hudson, 89 of Martin, died Tuesday, November 25, 1997, at Volunteer General Hospital, Martin.

Services will be a 1 p.m. Friday at Mars Chapel Church of Christ in Leapwood with Elder Houston Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Mars Chapel Cemetery in Leapwood.

Friends my call at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Hudson was born November 14, 1908, in Adamsville, daughter of the late Luther and Mollie Harris Walker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Macedonai Primitive Baptist Church, Martin. She was the widow of Russell Plunk and Taft Hudson.

Survivors include four sons, Doyles W. Plunk and Ronald Plunk, both of Martin, L.C. Plunk and James Plunk, both of Sharon; four daughters, Mrs. Leatrice Copeland of Wilmington, N.C., Mrs. Davie Ashe of Adamsville, Mrs. Erlene Cantrell of Martin, and Mrs. Dorothy Leggins of Kingston; five stepsons, Larry Hudson of Reagan, Kenneth Hudson and W.T. Hudson, both of Sardin, Dwight Hudson of Lexington and Jerry Hudson of Beech Bluff; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jimmie Tucker of Inville and Mrs. Karen Woodard of Reagan; a brother, Reburn Walker of Adamsville; two sisters, Mrs. Lavon Treese of Adamsville and Mrs. Florence Watson of Florida; and 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, a great, great grandson, 14 step-grandchildren and 13 step great-grandchildren.
