Marjorie Powell Hedrick, "Margie" was born October 2, 1918 in Oklahoma City and died November 14, 2000. Marjorie is a much loved and never forgotten Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Margie is survived by her sister, Pat Willis of Whittier, CA; son, Mark, Oklahoma City; nephews, Joe Bailey, Lawton, OK, Bob Willis, Big Bear, CA; niece, Linda of Sacramento, CA; grandsons, Jim of Dallas, Ian of Oklahoma City and great grandson, Riley of Dallas. Margie will be loved and remembered byfriends too numerous to mention. Marjorie was employed for many years at Aero Commander, Rothchilds and Mistletoe Wholesale Florists in Oklahoma City. During WWII Margie worked at McDonnell Douglas as a "Rosie The Riveter". Margie attended Norman High School and OU. Margie was a devoted "OU Sooner", PTA Mom and Cub Scout leader. She was a member of the Wentworth Military Academy Parents Club, The OKC Power Squadron and volunteered for many causes. Margie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Floyd and Myrtle Powell; sister, Katie and son, Alan.
