Basketball champion of Oregon in 1951. Wade Halbrook was the basketball
champion of Oregon in 1951. Wade was 7 feet and one-fourth inch in height
and was an active athlete despite his over-size, playing forward in
basketball and making scores as high as 51 points in a game. See William
