County, NY to Amos Wolverton, a widower,
son of Israel and Mary Wolverton.
She was his third wife. After Mary's death
in 1845, Amos moved his family to Groveland
in Oakland County, MI. He later moved to
Millington in Tuscola County.

Children of Amos and Mary:
(1) Electa Ann Wolverton (1834-1900)
married first, Jeremiah VanHorn and second
to William Harrison Glynn.

(2) Nathan Barnet Wolverton (1835-1905)
married three times: first (Mar. 28, 1857)
to Martha Glynn (1842-1873), second (Oct. 9,
1876) to Elizabeth Ann Glennen(1833-1896),
and third (1897) to Mary Ann Freeman
(1839-1908).

(3) Hannah Melinda "Lucretia" Wolverton
(Jan. 4, 1837-ca 1874).

(4) John Stacy Wolverton (Sept. 11, 1838-
Aug. 27, 1864) served in the Civil War and
died as a POW in Andersonville, GA prison.

(5) William Grant Wolverton (Aug. 18-
Sept. 1840).
