Martin James Wolverton, longtime Grand Island, New York resident and businessman, died in Daytona Beach, Florida, Wednesday, August 1, 2007. He was a resident of Florida since 1985. He was the founder and owner of "Marty's Towing," a business that still bears his name. Mr. Wolverton, a veteran of WW 11 was born in Greenville, Michigan, 13 May 1922. He was a member of the Eagles Club American Legion and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreigh Wars. He enjoyed car shows. Survivors include his wife Anne: two sons Kelly Ryan, Daytona Beach: and Martin Wolverton Jr. Angola NY: four daughters Barbara Wolverton, Daytona Beach: Nancy Mann, Newburgh, NY; Karen Fenner, Seattle and Charlotte Baumgart, Angola: and two grandchildren..
