Lee, was the 8th child out of 12 children born to Annie Lora Bradley and Albert May Wolverton. He was the only child to be come a minister of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, outside of Huntsville, Randolph Co, Mo. He was Baptized in this church 1917. He was Minister about 1924. Then after getting married and getting to know Rev. Griffith of the Nazarene Church, he switched to the Nazarene Church.
On June 1925 he married Edith Marie Dameron of Huntsville, Randolph, Missouri. They had 6 children, Verna L.(deceased), Donald L.(deceased), Bonnie J.(deceased), Betty S. (died at soon after birth), Dorothy M., Delbert A. all of Missouri and surrounding States. Then bad health came to Lee and the Dr.s said he would be better off in CA. Lee and Edith packed up the kids and headed for Richmond, Contra Costa, California about 1945. In 1946 Sharon L. was born to them.
Lee was a Associate Pastor to the Richmond First Church of the Nazarene in Richmond, CA.
His bad health finally took his life one Augest day after helping to put out a fire across the street from the church. He died at home at 3041 Damn Road, San Pablo, Contra Costa, CA.

Edith was the youngest child of Loura Cora Ashurst and Robert Tyndall Dameron. Growing up she took piano lessions and her father sold off some land to buy her a piano. Her father was considered a Gentalman of means due to the land and farm implements he had. He was also a Deacon in the Baptist church they went to.
After Graduation from Huntsville High School, she married Bradley Lee Wolverton in June of 1925. They moved around a lot because of the diffrent Church Calling Lee recieved. In the years they had together, which were few, they had 7 children. Verna L, Donald L, Bonnie J., Betty S (died shortly after birth), Dorothy M, and Delbert A. all of Missouri and suranding States. They do to Lees poor health they move to Richmond, CA about 1945. In 1946 Sharon L. was born.
After Lees death in 1947, Edith took in Washing and Ironing to help get her by. Lee and Edith had bought a home with three cabins from Mr Griffith. They cabins rented out, her taking in laundry and irning and with Donald and Verna helping out with thier jobs they got by.
Edith remarried in 1951 to Robert Allen Valentine. They had no children, but were married until his death in 1984.
Edith married Levi Worrell in 1986 which was a marrage of friendship. Levi passed away in 1993 and Edith moved to her daughter home in North Park, San Diego, CA in 1994.
All in all Edith was well taken care of by all the children. Her and Robert Allen lived with her son Delbert and his wife for over 10 years. Then after his death and she moved to Santa Cruze to live with an ailing Levi Worrell and her daughter Dorothy kept an eye on her welfair. He devoted children always doted on her every need and she is very much missed to this day
