He died of a heart attack.

Madge was Married to Boyce Verlyn Elders before she married Adrain Cannon.
They had one child, Boyce Verlyn Jr.

She died in St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers, AR, abt 2:15 am. She had had a stroke that disabled her speech, but she still had some ability to move her limbs. Complications from emphasema was probably the ultimate cause of her death. She was a heavy smoker and had been for years.
