Lowell V. Woolverton, age 86, of Center Ridge, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was born September 22, 1924 on Woolverton Mountain a son of Freeland and Artie Holloway Woolverton. He was a Licensed Practical Nurse, of the Baptist Faith, a 32º Mason and member of the Masonic Lodge #475 in Center Ridge for 55 years.

He is survived by his son, Glen Woolverton and wife Sharon Kay of Woolverton Mountain; sister, Jane Buel of Memphis, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Sherry McCoy and husband Leslie, Glenda Russell and husband Travis, Ray Woolverton and wife Stephanie, Paul Woolverton all of Woolverton Mountain; four great-grandchildren, Roger Woolverton and wife Lucy, Crystal McCoy, Christopher Woolverton, and Dyiarl Woolverton; and one great-great-grandchild, Little Wayne Woolverton.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at Formosa Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Reese officiating. Burial will be at Woolverton Mountain Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
